Retirement Fund

As a UA member, you’ll receive a retirement fund —not just a 401(k) where the employee takes on 100% of the risk. To provide you with the peace of mind in your retirement, we offer a comprehensive, secure pension plan. You’ll be able to retire and have a solid quality of life supported by pension and retirement income.

Local 333 has a Retirement Fund NOT a 401k where the employee takes on 100% of the risk.

Pension contributions are currently at $10.20 per hour worked. This contribution amount is paid at the time and a half rate ($15.30) and double time rate ($20.40) when working overtime.

All Pension contributions are paid by the employer as part of the fringe package NOT at all withheld from the employees’ hourly wage.

Employees start earning Pension contributions on the first day of employment.

After vesting in the plan (5 years) the Pension is legally yours at your retirement age.

As a Journeyman Local 333 member you will have voice and vote over future Pension Contribution increase and/or decreases.

At retirement you have the choice to select a payment schedule to include beneficiary’s including both spouse and children.

Your contributions to the Pension dictate your benefit amount at retirement. Therefore you are in control of your own future.
